Greg Kelley, Pastor of Student Ministry
Hi, my name is Greg and my heart is to meet people where they’re at, understand where they come from, and encourage them to take the next step with God in their life’s journey. I pastor the 24/7 HFC student ministry. That stands for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week becoming Hardcore Followers of Christ. I also assist with other areas of pastoral care in the overall ministry of Parkway Place such as the denture care of the senior pastor among other things.
Basic Stuff: I was born the son of a Boothill Brisket Eater in Cape Girardeau Missouri. I attended and graduated from college in Olathe, KS. I spent my college summers in Detroit MI working for the Salvation Army. I moved to Maumelle AR in 1995 and have been pastoring students ever since. During this time, I met and married my beautiful wife Lori (1998). We have 3 children, Tyler, Trent, and Emery.

Education: : Mid America Nazarene University (1994); Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Experiential Learning.
Interests and Favorites:
PLACES: Any Thrill Park especially Cedar Point Amusement Park. Gulf Shores AL, Southern California, Gatlinburg TN, Disney World, the lake, and my home.
WHAT’S ON MY IPOD: I still buy CD’s! I like metal, classic rock, fusion/jazz, pretty much anything that makes me bob my head, tap my foot, beat my chest, or shed a tear.
BOOKS: I like to read both fiction and non fiction. Some of my favorite authors are Erwin McManus, Rob Bell, Max Lucado, Andy Stanley, Frank Peritti, Doug Fields, and Steve Alten.
WHAT DO YOU TiVo: I’m an idiot for not having TiVo but it would be American Idol.
SPORTS TEAM: I seriously wear the Birds on the Bat over my heart. I AM the St. Louis Cardinal fan. I enjoy pretty much all sports, particularly rooting for the Missouri Tigers, Nebraska Cornhuskers, St. Louis Blues, and Arizona Cardinals. I love to play Fantasy Football and Fantasy Baseball where my teams are the Grinnin Finz and B.D. Dragons.
MOVIES: Jaws, Lord of the Rings, Gladiator, Water Boy, Cloverfield, Darby O Gill and the Little People, Apple Dumpling Gang, Dumbo, Toy Story, and any Super Hero flicks.
HOBBIES: Fantasy baseball/football, softball, yard beautification, paintball (have 2 tournament guns), jet skiing, grilling, and playing with my kids and loving on my wife.
DISLIKES: Those who question my Fanhood!
